New Chevron Striped skirts!

I just listed a bunch of new skirts on my etsy shop at sandeeroyalty.com I am super excited about the chevron Katie skirts!  What makes me the MOST excited is that I have all the samples from the photo shoot to hang in my closet!!!  I wonder what skirt I will wear tomorrow...

charming dresses!

Wearing dresses is my favorite thing to do!  A dress give you a wonderful feminine feeling, especially if it has a full poofy skirt.  Yesterday when I was sewing in my PJs, I was watching Monkey Business on Netflix.  It has Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers in it.  Ginger was wearing a lovely poofy black dress with a petticoat underneath.  I was inspired to stop and  put on one of my Hartley dresses and fix up jewelry and all to get the look of Ginger in that dress.  It made my day so much more fun and I felt so charming!

Getting ready for my spring collection

It is all about dots and chevrons in the Sandee Royalty studio today!  I am getting my spring collection ready to go.  I am so excited about the colors and patterns for Katie skirts and mod maddie shift dresses.  I will be working on samples over the holidays and list the collection on etsy at the first of the year.   Yay!

Sneak Peek at Spring 2013- Polka Dot Mod Maddie Shift

This Spring Collection is all about Dots and Chevrons. I am introducing a Mega black and white polka dot print in a heavy cotton twill (totally washable!) and several colors of chevron print Katie Skirts.  The first piece and my favorite is the Mod Maddie Shift Dress in black and white MEGA dot.  I am wearing it in the photo styled for winter with tights and a Barbara Blouse but it will also take you into spring and summer worn sleeveless with a cardi over or tee under.  It has a back invisible zipper and is more fitted in the back so you don't look like you are wearing a dotted sack.  It is a little longer on me because I am 5'4" but I like it that way at my over 40 age. There are just some things that should be covered up...

Real Weddings- Navy and white Striped Bridesmaid's skirts

Here is a darling picture sent to my by one of the bridesmaids (Anna Claire in the middle) of her sisters wedding in navy and white Katie skirts.  I really love them with the navy J Crew cardigans and the yellow flowers!  Such pretty girls!

Chevron Ball skirt

I just listed a new Katie Ball skirt in black and white chevron print.  It is super fun and amazingly glamorous. i can't wait to find somewhere FUN to wear my skirt.  I will have to plan a special outing just to show it off.
